Welcome to Trinity!
“We’ve decided to make Trinity our home church”.
While this statement was nice to hear, what caught my attention was the next one: “we decided this months ago while living on the
other side of the world. India to be exact.” This couple was moving back to Canada, discovered our website, began listening to our
messages online, grasped the season of transition we are in and the fresh vision that is emerging as a faith community and said “we’re
in, let’s go!”
Candidly, this incident makes me think very hard about our website, our vision and values, our presentation of ministries and our
first impression to any who might be surfing and searching locally or globally. (Look for change in the months ahead as we move
forward! ☺)
Even more though, this incident makes me think about you. Your spiritual journey, your questions about Christ, your desire for
connection and relationship, your deep longing to be swept up into an epic God-adventure that is much bigger and broader than
anything you can possibly imagine. The fact that you are even reading this says something about something going on in you. Way to
go!
A couple of things you should know about us at Trinity before you go any further…
We are a faith community on the move. Continuously listening, following, loving and serving our God who we believe is on the move
in this world. If you join up with us brace yourself…we are moving forward answering the call of our King.
Secondly, as we move we don’t always get it right. As one church leader described his church as ‘no perfect people allowed’. Well,
that would be true of us. No perfect people allowed. Come as you are. And, change as God changes you. That’s what is happening to
each of us who call Trinity home.
Email or call us at 250 860 3273 with any questions or comments. We’d love to hear from you.
