This Weekend at Trinity
Beyond Talk
This is a four week expositional series based on the fourth chapter of Ephesians. Chapter 4 is a comprehensive call by Paul to the key believers in Ephesus, challenging them not to just discuss their beliefs, but to put their beliefs into action. We are going deep in this series, as we take our faith Beyond Talk.
The Challenge of "Together"
May 3 & 4
Ephesians 4:1-6 The call of serious Christ-followers to demonstrate that their calling involves unprecedented levels of unity. Paul realistically describes the effort required, the price to be paid and the basis on which unity is possible.
Every Parent's Dream
May 10 & 11
Ephesians 4:11-16 Emphasis of this talk is impacted by the fact that it is Mother's Day although the text clearly describes an urging by Paul that his spiritual children fulfill two critical mandates: getting their gifts into play; and developing stable, mature lives. This weekend will link the mother's day / parenting thee with these tangible expectations.
Constructing A Conscience
May 17 & 18
Ephesians 4:17-24 One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is a soft, pliable conscience. This weekend will explore not only the call to construct a conscience, but some practical guidance on how to do it.
It Doesn't Get Any More Practical
May 24 & 25
Ephesians 4:25-32 Lying, stealing, telling bad jokes, losing your temper... Christians deal with all of the practical realities of trying to honor God with your whole life. As the title says, it doesn't get any more practical than this.
